In Kerala we are generating 3.7 million tons of solid waste per year, of which 80% are bio degradable. 75 % of these wastes are just dumped in the dumping yard. Due to this process methane gas is formed, which is harmful to nature as well as humans.
Foab Solution Pvt Ltd has been registered as a startup company under the Technology Business Incubator (TBI, Startup Valley) of Amal Jyothi Engineering College, Kanjirappally, Kerala. We are focused mainly in waste management, food through organic farming, conservation of plant varieties and propagation of indigenous seeds. Through decades of our constant R&D works, we have developed a multi layered aerobic bin system for home waste management, which is ahead of other bins available in the market.
Team FOAB has massive years of experience in the field of waste management and convert the bio degradable waste to bio fertilizers to obtain excellent yield.
We are the first in India to design and develop a Multi-Layered Aerobic Bin Composter, named GEEBIN.
Daily food waste in a family of 5 member’s ranges between 200 – 500 gm and these home food wastes can be easily converted to Organic fertilizers. GEEBIN has a sophisticated 2 layered design (inner and outer layers) which has three compartments of 20L each. Each compartment has enough holes and aerobic composting uses oxygen and bacteria for natural decomposition. One compartment gets filled within a month after which the second and finally the third can be used. Since water is the main content for waste and that generates smell after being kept for days along with waste, we have developed a leakage recovery system. The top cover of the GEEBIN has holes to expel the air produced through composting. The waste changes into compost within 25-30 days and can be used as fertilizer.
A highly efficient microbial consortium enriched in cocopeat, which can convert biodegradable materials into high value organic manure within 25 to 30days. The unique composting inoculums is carefully chosen and made into a consortium of beneficial microbes. The novelty of this product is that it helps to ward off foul smell generation. The organic manure generated using Dcom & Flourish enhances soil fertility by increasing the organic carbon content. This can also be used as an ingredient in making soilless substrate.
After auditing thirty days of waste generation particularly in restaurants, hotels, convents, hostels, convention centers etc, we can custom-make community waste management system according to their needs. The composting technology is same as used in G bin. Decomposition process is completed within 30 days and the moisture level of the finished organic manure maintained optimum for packing and final use. The composting microbes incorporated in low EC cocopeat called Dcom & Flourish makes the compost excellent in both physical as well as chemical characteristics. Our unique design of the Gee community is user friendly and cost effective.
